Owner was very kind and welcoming. He even played with our toddler after arriving at 21:00. This is the closest you will get to a traditional Japanese home with tatami floors and a nice garden with a great price. A short walk from Kureha Station which is a 1-stop ride to Toyama Station. We didn’t get to use the kitchen but it was well-equipped and spacious.

It’s not too far from Toyama station, the host gave me two complimentary tickets for the tram, he was so kind and helpful, his service was outstanding, I highly recommend this property as it looks really Japanese style for a small price.

It is very close to station, about 7min walk. The beds were were very comfy and staff spoke both Enlgish and Japanese. There is also free coffee and tea in the morning with a V60 at service.

This guesthouse has hostel vibes (which I consider to be a good thing), yet our room was elegant, the outside terrace/balkony inviting, and the bathroom splendid and very new.
The common area was clean and inviting, and the use of the kitchen area great.
Even if you do not care about the "common parts", it is still a great room for a reasonable price.

The staff is nice and helpful. Dormitory bed is chose, but the shared room is spacious than other hostels. Also, the bed is comfortable. The common area is well decorated and you can talk with the room rate. read various magazines about hiking and Japanese comics~~
