The staff and a "share culture" made this spot perfect. It is a simple place with basic rooms and facilities. It is an inexpensive, no-frills place. However, the owner was extremely helpful and went out of his way to make us feel welcome. He picked us up from a 1 am flight. The breakfast was good. He gave us fruit right from his garden. He got us cell phone service and advice for our trip. He gave us adapters for plugs and helped with all sorts of advice. Guests leave items to share: Sunscreen, Shampll, lotion, etc... that you can use. He has a simple quaint garden with active bird life. It was a good location and a nice welcome.

We needed to rest after the tour and before the flight. This hotel was the best choice. After the tour and many hotels, the first phrase we said was: how clean it is here. The manager was very kind, met us, explained everything, and called a tuk-tuk to the airport. This hotel is an ideal choice for transit. I regret that we did not choose this hotel on the first night of our trip.

I was in Colombo before and went to Negombo because its a nice place very near the airport. There were certain options to go to, curlys hostel was one of the cheapest in my case. I booked for 3 days and stayed at least 11 days because the room was perfect with a very comfortable bed (I was the only visitor for 8 days) and AC in a cozy house with everything I needed. Curly is a superb host, also the employeed house maker called aunty, the hostel got cleaned every day and the food was delicious. Drank also 'Old Arrack' from Rockland with ice there, can very recommend that spirit

Perfect Hostel in Negombo, close to the airport and directly on the big wide beach. Met loads of nice people here. Relaxing atmosphere on the veranda with tables and hammocks, overlooking the beach. Yohan, who runs this place, is a gem of a person. He goes out of his way to make you comfortable and personally takes care of his guests' needs. Stayed in the private room, very spacious, with a big balcony and amazing views. The hostel is directly on the main beach road, so plenty to do and lots of restaurants, shops and bars all round. Definitely will come back!

Took a Grab car from the Jakarta airport. A bit of a drive, but very comfortable. The staff was great, location is in a quiet neighborhood and the manager is super helpful in arranging transport to airport for early morning flight. 100% would recommend! The fish pond in lobby was a nice addition and a unique addition to the stay.
