Everything’s was great! It’s quite a new building so everything was still very new, clean and very well maintained. The beds are comfortable, big lockers, great pool and roof top, avocado toast and pancakes for breakfast, I could go on and on. Great value for the money! Best hostel I have ever stayed at.

We had a wonderful stay at this hostel. Everything was very clean, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The location is excellent — you can easily reach the Tulum ruins and nearby cenotes by bike, and downtown is just a short walk away. The bikes for rent are quite affordable; they could be in slightly better condition, but they still got us everywhere we wanted to go. One of the highlights was the Happy Hour at the bar, which created a great atmosphere to relax and connect with other travelers. We also loved the Movie Night. Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend this hostel to others.

Mayan Monkey Tulum - Social Hotel ligt in Tulum en beschikt over een restaurant, een buitenzwembad, een bar en een tuin. The best hostel I have ever stayed in and I’ve stayed in hostels all over the world. The facilities were kept beyond clean, the whole place had a great vibe to it from the more upbeat bar/pool area to the chill relaxation zone. They had so many different activities to participate in everyday. The staff were incredible too, the bar served delicious cocktails and food. The pool was massive and nice and refreshing. There was a heap of places around the pool and bar to sit as well. The hostel was very social with lots of games at the bar to play. The bar was quite loud at night but we were given earplugs for the night we weren’t a part of the party which worked a treat. It was extremely safe and secure with a security guard and locked access to the dorms. It was close to lots of restaurants and about a 10min walk to the main part of town and a 10-15 min drive to the beach!

It's a great hostel with an amazing vibe. The guests were so cool and respectful. I loved going up to the roof at night and gazing at the stars.

From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel right at home. Everyone was super friendly, helpful, and full of great recommendations for exploring Tulum. The vibe is relaxed and social, perfect for meeting fellow travelers without feeling like a wild party hostel. The rooms and common areas were immaculately clean and well-maintained. The beds were super comfortable with privacy curtains and personal lockers – ideal for getting a good night's sleep. The air conditioning was a lifesaver after hot days out. What really sets Maui Hostel apart is the atmosphere – chill but fun. The rooftop is a perfect spot to unwind with a drink or catch sunset. They also offer bike rentals, which made it super easy to get to the beach and around town. I’ve stayed in hostels all over the world, and Maui is definitely one of my favorites. It has the perfect balance of comfort, community, and location. Can’t recommend it enough – wish I could’ve stayed longer!
