This hostel is a hidden gem in paradise. As soon as I got here I felt immediately relaxed. You feel in touch with nature. The room is very cozy as well and not too hot at night. Also, it’s really close to playa maderas.

Without a doubt the best hostel I've stayed at throughout the entire Central America. The huts are tucked away in a lush tropical garden and it is a little heaven of peace and calm. This is not a party hostel and I loved the chill vibe. The only sounds you'll hear are the birds (hence the name of the hostel). I was in an 8-bed dorm which was a bit tight but each bed has its own fan the the bed was comfortable - I slept like a baby. The facilities are super clean, one of rare places that sorts out trash for recycling, there is a lovely terrace and upper chillout area where you can see the Concepcion volcano. They offer breakfast at a good price and the typical Nica breakfast was delicious. There's a different evening meal on offer every day but I didn't try any. The staff were really kind and helped me organise a few things such as kayaking, transport, bike, etc. If I ever go back to Ometepe, I will definitely book this place again. Excellent!

Great accommodation, all the amenities were clean and comfortable. Located close to the tide pools, which was a highlight of our stay!

Really friendly and helpful staff, good food, fun Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy Theme. Nice location, walking distance to town/the ferry but quiet and away from the commotion.

Rooms clean and well equipped. Family run hostel and they were very welcoming and helpful. Small restaurant on site with really good food and coffee for a good price. Central location and only 10 min walk from the port.

Το the SPACE Jungle Oasis είναι σε San Juan del Sur, σε απόσταση 70μ από το σημείο ενδιαφέροντος Παραλία Playa Nacascolo και προσφέρει καταλύματα με εξωτερική πισίνα, δωρεάν ιδιωτικό χώρο στάθμευσης,... We loved everything! The rooms are spacious, clean and modern. The restaurant and service is fantastic. The cocktails are great, the pool is nice and the staff friendly. The location is in the Jungle and yes it is further away from the city but we loved it. The shuttle costs 2$ per trip pP and takes you to San Juan del Sur in 15 minutes. There is also a shuttle passing by to get to the surf beach playa maderas which costs 4$ one way or 7$ round trip. Renting a scooter might be worth it though as cabs are insanely overpriced!!!!
