Great location, friendly service, high cleanliness, homely feel to the place. We had one dinner in the restaurant which was very good. The bar is also a very nice touch.

I would definitely recommend Mary-Ann's Polarrigg! Great location and very charming place. There's lots of personality to this hotel. The room was tidy, comfortable, and convenient, with good amenities. The common room was very cosy, and nice to be able to get tea and coffee there any time. The staff were friendly and there was always someone available to answer questions. The breakfast was very nice with good variety.

This is a budget stay and with that in mind it's good value for money. Really good breakfast offered, huge selection and the glassed atrium is great place to sit while eating and enjoying looking out. Staff a pleasant not really that friendly and do the bare minimum. The lounge areas and bar are pretty comfortable. Rooms are clean but very very basic. Shared bathrooms ok, clean but basic. Location ok if you use the bridge to cross over to town but not great if you have to walk all the way around the river.

The place has a lot of atmosphere. The bed narrow but perfectly comfortable. Very good breakfast. Never needed to wait for using the shared bathroom. The hotel reminded me a lot of an Australian backpacker hostel.
