Kanuka Ridge Lodge " and Backpackers " Very nice, clean and quiet place. We really felt welcome! The bed was very confortable, the kitchen was perfect for cooking a lot of kitchen tools and relaxing atmosphere. We will probably be back for our next hike trip in Abel Tasman.

Situated on the edge of the Abel Tasman National Park The Barn Cabins & Camp offers guests shared accommodation in a natural bush setting. Socialise by the BBQ or over a game of billiards.

The hostel is just 180 metres from the Abel Tasman Glow Worms. Motueka is 13 km from the property. Quiet, cosy rooms! The living and cooking spaces are the best I’ve seen out of all of those in the South Island! Staff were amazingly helpful and nice!

Set in Kaiteriteri, 100 metres from Kaiteriteri Beach, Kaiteri Lodge offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a restaurant. Boasting a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with a barbecue. Guests can have a drink at the bar.

The area is popular for hiking and cycling, and bike hire is available at the hostel. This hostel was better than I expected. It is not really a party place as some comments I have read suggested. I liked the kitchen and the outside area and that there was enough space in the room for everyone's luggage.
