Lakes Edge Lodge is just a 3-minute drive from Lake Tekapo town centre. A free shuttle service is available to and from Lake Tekapo bus terminal. I liked the fact that the team on the desk did all they could when our booking with you guys had not been sent to them... We arrived to our booking to learn they were sold out. Infact the WHOLE TOWN was sold out. After an hour of 4 people on phones ringing air bnbs hotels motels hostels. Not one bed was found. The staff did everything they could. And a staff member let us stay in there new build that they were about to send to air b n b once it was finished. Obviously this was far more then they should have to do and we were extremely grateful for this guy who let us stay there. The place was beautiful and worth alot more then what we had booked. We had stayed at this place before and were happy with the beds location cleanliness and the service. Was extremely unfortunate that you hadn't passed our booking on to the place we had booked.

Everything was amazing about this property, easy to locate and we had a lovely warm cozy room with the most outstanding, breathtaking view. Shared kitchen, lounge facilities were lovely and everything you could need was available to you. Sharing this space with other guest was nice and everyone was very accommodating and respectful of each other. Loved everything about our stay here. When we arrived we were only booked for one night. But it became obvious to my husband and I that it would not be enough. We called the number and spoke with a lovely lady and she allowed us to book the next night. Two nights was what we had and it was the best for me on my whole trip. We travelled to Mt Cook, Wanaka and Queenstown. I would not hesitate to recommend this accommodation. I do feel the name lets it down a little as there was nothing budget about our stay. Thank you so much for sharing your place.
