Situated in the town of Ohakune, on the edge of Tongariro National Park, LKNZ Lodge & Cafe is within 5 minutes' walk of restaurants, bars and shops. It features a sauna, hot tubs and an on-site cafe. Clean, comfortable and cozy! We loved!

Check in was smooth and easy despite me arriving outside of office hours, the instructions given to access the lockbox and find my room were easy to follow. Enjoyed breakfast and a good chat in the morning thanks to the lovely owners. Thank you!

A comfortable simple place in a great location close to amazing tracks and mountains! We were not as young as most of the guests there and we felt wonderful surrounded by them and lovely staff, who are mainly young people working temporary to fund traveling in New Zealand. No fuss, a simple that offers precisely what one needs and encourages you to spend majority of time outdoors, as one should when in New Zealand. We booked a room with private bathroom.
