Το Relax a Lodge βρίσκεται σε Kerikeri, σε απόσταση 20 χλμ από το σημείο ενδιαφέροντος Opua Forest και προσφέρει καταλύματα με δωρεάν ποδήλατα, δωρεάν ιδιωτικό χώρο στάθμευσης, εξωτερική πισίνα και... Wonderful property off a main road with a huge orange orchard, cute pigs, and adorable chickens (who follow you around!). Loved that there was always a dog or guests roaming around, but it was still extremely quiet and laid back. Klaus, the proprietor, is a fantastic host who loves to chat while he goes about his day. 10/10 experience, can’t wait to come back!!

Το Haka House Bay of Islands είναι ένα φιλόξενο και κομψό hostel που βρίσκεται ακριβώς απέναντι από τη γραφική προβλήτα Paihia και προσφέρει άνετα, πρακτικά καταλύματα με θέα εκατομμυρίων δολαρίων... The location was prime, though it was a bit difficult out to find the entrance as the hostel and reception aren’t on the ground floor. But it was on the waterfront and smack in the middle of a bunch of restaurants and shops with easy access to the ferry system.

Υπό νέα διεύθυνση από τα μέσα του 2022 και μόλις 80μ. από την παραλία Paihia, το Peppertree Lodge διαθέτει χώρο μπάρμπεκιου με υπαίθριο καθιστικό. It’s just really cool. Got to meet lots of people from other countries. The communal aspect was good.

Το Centabay Lodge προσφέρει οικονομικά καταλύματα στο κέντρο της Paihia. Centabay was my favourite hostel that I stayed at in New Zealand!!! I loved the vibrant atmosphere, the lovely backpacker-staff and the wonderful manager who was always a joy to chat with. The prices are incredibly reasonable for a place in the middle of Paihia, and you can tell the manager isn't in it for the profit - she genuinely wants to help travellers have the best experience possible. The hot tub worked well and was always great to use. The hammocks and tropical garden are another bonus. I could go on and on!

Το hostel Cell Block Backpackers είναι μια ανακαινισμένη φυλακή της δεκαετίας του 1960, η οποία μετατράπηκε σε πολύχρωμα καταλύματα. Το κατάλυμα βρίσκεται σε κεντρική τοποθεσία, περίπου 400μ. Loved that it was unique! Loved the people and the owners, super friendly and everything was easy and accessible, they also had cats so it was nice cuddling up with them especially with me being away from home and missing my own.
