Erik and his family were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. They made you feel like part of their family from the moment you arrived. The rooms are simple and comfortable and the property is on a quiet street. Breakfast is provided in the family kitchen and we had access to cooking facilities and the fridge. We went on an 8-day Huayuash trek with Erik and the whole experience was spectacular. Erik is a very able and knowledgeable guide. He is eager to share his understanding of the mountains, Peruvian history and politics and the rich culture of the country. The food he provides is delicious and his equipment and organizational skills are excellent.

The staff was absolutely amazing and seriously gave us the best service we had on our entire trip in Peru. The breakfast was really good as well. We also loved the balcony and the views and the little hobby farm.

The location although far from town was exactly what I needed for some peace and quiet, to ground and acclimate to the altitude. The garden area was perfect for laying in a hammock, reading my book and doing my morning exercises.

Το Montañero Hostel II είναι σε Huaraz, Ancash, σε απόσταση 1,4 χλμ από Στάδιο Rosas Pampa. Extremely kind personnel, they always greet you with a smile! Laundry service was cheap and fast. Breakfast varied each day, it was a bit small but always really tasty. The hostel was well located. We were also allowed to use the kitchen and fridge. The beds were good and the shower always got hot, which was really nice after the hikes that often ended with rain. The hostel even provided breakfast on our first day when they let us check-in at 8 in the morning, after arriving by night bus!

Το Andes Hostel βρίσκεται σε Huaraz, Ancash, σε απόσταση 800μ από Στάδιο Rosas Pampa. I really felt at home in this place. I stayed for a long time and really enjoyed. The owners are friendly and helpful, and have they're own agency with good quality and prices, which makes it really easy to make plans. The kitchen serves as a really nice shared space, where I met the other guests every morning and evening, and made many friends. It's located near the center but on a quiet street, and great value for money :) Thank you for everything!

Best value for the price in Huaraz. Rooms are spacious and clean with the hottest shower I had all over Peru. The hostel is full of travelers and outdoor-minded people, and the place connects you to all kinds of tours around Huaraz. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful, we could check in early and leave our luggage after check-out until our night bus. I even forgot something at the hostel, and the owner sent it to me in Lima right away. It arrived the next day.
