The staff are super friendly, helpful, and make you feel right at home. They organize excellent tours and trips around Ica, Huacachina, and beyond — always great value and perfectly arranged. The hostel has everything you need: clean and comfortable rooms, good facilities, a big TV room with Netflix etc. and nice common areas to relax or meet other travelers. It’s one of the best-value places in Ica and maybe whole Peru, and definitely my go-to whenever I’m back in town. Highly recommended!

Featuring an outdoor pool, a garden with hammocks and a rooftop terrace with views of the oasis, Bananas Adventure offers accommodation with free WiFi in Huacachina oasis in Ica. The commercial area is 3 km away. This was our first night in Peru after 2 full travel days so when we arrived we were happy with our choice in the oasis. The room had everything we needed - comfy bed, private bathroom with shower and the most important - hot water. There was wifi although we used our esim service. Our room was on the second floor overlooking the lake and the sand dunes. It was clean which is hard to achieve considering the amount of sand around. The room temp was pleasant and we didn't use the provided fans. The hostel has a pool (we didn't use it so can't comment), a bar and a restaurant. They gave us a free drink each upon arrival which was a pleasant gesture, considering the outside temperature which was 32 degrees Celsius when we arrived (a lot cooler at night). The restaurant seemed to work all day and until late at the evening with some nice things on the menu, both local and international. We were there on Saturday so for dinner we had to wait more than an hour to be served. The kitchen and the drinks were nice. Of course it was loud until at least 23:00 pm but this is clearly stated and we were too tired to even mind it. We booked a sand boarding and buggy tour directly with the hotel and were happy with the service because it was easy. Perhaps there are more "luxurious" tours around but we were too tired to search. The price was reasonable and it was a good way to meet fellow travelers. What we enjoyed most in the hostel was the rooftop terrace where we spent most of our free time overlooking the dunes. Staff spoke some English and we could pay by card which was convenient. They booked a taxi for us back to Ica.

Desert Nights Hostel features a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and bar in Ica. The accommodation offers a shared kitchen, a 24-hour front desk and organising tours for guests. I wished l have stayed longer, l was allowed to check in before the official check in time by kind staff. The same for the checkout, that was very appreciated. Kitchen area is great, beds are comfortable, would have liked curtains on beds perhaps. Location is perfect. There is a swimming pool to use and l enjoyed that very much.

This location offers you the perfect mix of adrenaline, hiking and views. Just a 10 minutes walk from the hostel and you will encounter a hidden paradise. Golden sand, a beautiful boulevard and an endless horizon will accompany you while you spend the day in the Oasis of Huacachina. This was the best hostel we stayed at within 6 weeks in Peru. The pool was clean, the breakfast was good, the room was spacious and clean, and the overall design of the hostel is super nice. We were welcomed warmly by the staff, and they actually remembered our names even though we only stayed one night.

Very pleased with our stay. Juan is a very kind and caring host. He speaks English perfectly. Our room was clean, shower had good pressure and water was hot. We organized the Nazca flight tour with him beforehand which turned out to be good value and no hassle. Unfortunately no breakfast as they were short staffed but the breakfast was extra anyway and he recommended a place called Farita’s near the Plaza which had good egg sandwiches for 3 soles. The room was fairly quiet but you still get occasional honks and traffic noise which you can’t seem to escape anywhere in Peru. It was a short walk away from the main Plaza. I’m glad we didn’t stay around the Plaza as it would have been much noisier. Overall, I don’t think you can do much better for accommodation in Nasca.
