On our drive from Lisbon to Porto, we stayed one night at this guesthouse in the Schist Villages area. We booked two rooms – one double room with a large bed and another room with bunk beds for our kids. Although it’s technically a guesthouse (so you’ll find bunk beds here), we were pleasantly surprised by the quality. The place was clean, tidy, quiet, and the beds were comfortable. There was also a shared kitchen fully equipped for cooking, which was very convenient. Parking is not available on-site, but it was easy to park on the street nearby. Breakfast in the morning was good, with all the basic ingredients - but when we asked for additional items, they gladly provided it – vegetables, eggs, and sausages. The staff were extremely kind and helpful. They don’t speak much English, but Google Translate made communication simple, so it wasn’t a problem at all. Overall, it turned out to be a much nicer place than we expected: clean, comfortable, welcoming, and in a convenient location to stop on the way. Highly recommended!

Super cozy place, nice check-in with simple instructions and some extras like coffee and muffins provided to fill up your breakfast (I'm cycling across Alentejo and it surely was useful) Super close to the train station, location is 11/10 I will come back for sure 😃

Each shower has a separate shower area and an area with the bench where you can get (un)dressed. Everything was spotless and the staff were very kind. The bedroom was spaceous without many frills, so it worked just fine for our short stay. We left too early and didn't get a chance to try their breakfast, but it was nice having the option. Would definitely come back!
