Guest rooms include a safety deposit box. I arrived very early in the morning. As expected, the room was not ready. But the person at the reception allowed me to sit in the common are and the restaurant. He also ensured that the room was cleaned on priority and allowed me to checkin before the standard 2 PM. I stayed in the hostel section (By the way, the hotel is called as Michelangelo - no idea why it is listed as 5 stars high hostel). The private room was clean and cosy. Overall, no issues. Very near to bus stop. The old city is about 10-15 minute walk. Airport bus stop is 5 minutes away.

You can also walk 10 minutes to the metro or bus station and easily get anywhere in Bucharest from there. The property also has a beautiful backyard where you can meet other people staying in the other rooms.
