The area is really nice, on the edge of Lamai beach its a very easy walk or scooter into the main areas of Lamai beach and a 20 minute scooter to Chaweng or fisherman's village

It was also cleaned by request during our long stay. Common kitchen well equipped, had mixer, microwave, toaster, rice cooker and gas stove with all utilities. I cooked breakfasts and sometimes even dinners there. Plenty areas where you can chill in common area. Good WiFi. Location is quiet and a bit distant from supermarkets, atm and exchange. But stuff was very accommodating and helped us with the ride for very friendly price. Also you can rent a scooter and it will be very convenient. There are few nice restaurants in a walking distance, beach is 400 meters from the place. It’s ok to swim in the evening, but in the morning time ebb tide is strong and you will need swimming shoes to go through line of stones to reach water. Overall we had great stay there.

Located in Bangrak, Samui Backpacker Hotel is a 1-minute walk from a pier that can take guests to Ko Phangan and the famous full moon parties. It offers dormitory-style and private rooms with free WiFi. The free facilities such as the pool, the ping pong table and pool table!! It was really fun and very easy to make friends. Their kitchen was also great and with good prices compared to the nearby restaurants. They also offered a taxi with a good price there, which was very useful whenever we needed to head somewhere :)
