I only stayed there for one night but there looked to be enough to do to keep the guests entertained who wanted a night in.

She welcomes everyone with a warm smile and takes care of her guests as if they were her own family. The bathroom is spotless and fully stocked with all the essentials. And to my surprise — breakfast is included! Delicious food, great conversations, and a cozy start to the day ☕🍳 These three days will stay in my memory for a long time. I didn’t expect much at first, but reality far exceeded my expectations. If you’re looking for a place that feels like home, with a heart full of care and love — this is the one. I rarely write reviews, but this time it comes straight from the heart ❤️ When I return to Chicago, I’ll definitely stay with Shirley again!

An ice-skating rink is nearby, and free parking is available. Guests appreciate the room cleanliness, convenient location, and attentive staff. It was a very good experience staying at Stay 424 Hostel. The place is clean, quiet, and close to the Blue Line. We would definitely stay here again.

Public Transportation is only a block away, hop on the 'L' at the Addison station to take you downtown or further north. Free WiFi is available to guests. Nice, tidy, friendly, and supportive. More than I expected from a hostel. The location is awesome, less than 5 minutes to CTA and Wrigley Field. A lot of bars, clubs etc. within walking distance. Clean and pretty safe part of Chicago.

All the people in the hostel were running the Chicago marathon and the staff prepared snacks for us in the morning and let us take a shower after the race no mather the fact the checkout time passed. They also kept our stuff safe. The rooms, showers and toilet were also really clean and you hade free shampoo to use too. If I ever come back to Chicago, this is the place where I will be coming back!
