In the evenings we gathered around the table, shared stories, laughed, and enjoyed tea together — it felt like one big, friendly family 🫶 A special thank you to Shirley, a wonderful elderly woman who makes this house so special. She welcomes everyone with a warm smile and takes care of her guests as if they were her own family. The bathroom is spotless and fully stocked with all the essentials. And to my surprise — breakfast is included! Delicious food, great conversations, and a cozy start to the day ☕🍳 These three days will stay in my memory for a long time. I didn’t expect much at first, but reality far exceeded my expectations. If you’re looking for a place that feels like home, with a heart full of care and love — this is the one. I rarely write reviews, but this time it comes straight from the heart ❤️ When I return to Chicago, I’ll definitely stay with Shirley again!

Wrigley Hostel ligt op slechts een steenworp afstand van Wrigley Field en op slechts 10 minuten lopen van het dichtstbijzijnde openbare strand. I love this hostel. The location - that’s Wrigley Field, right on the doorstep, and the rest of the area is similarly lovely. The staff were friendly and helpful and two of them led us wonderfully astray on a crawl of Wrigleyville’s bars. Transport connections to the city were very close and very easy. Do-Rite Donuts around the corner for breakfast. Literally a perfect pied a terre for experiencing Chicago

Situated amongst the popular dining and entertainment of the West Loop "Greektown" neighborhood, this downtown Chicago hostel offers complimentary daily coffee and tea (24 hours) and free WiFi. The staff was really nice and helpful. All the people in the hostel were running the Chicago marathon and the staff prepared snacks for us in the morning and let us take a shower after the race no mather the fact the checkout time passed. They also kept our stuff safe. The rooms, showers and toilet were also really clean and you hade free shampoo to use too. If I ever come back to Chicago, this is the place where I will be coming back!
