The breakfast is great and you can eat whenever you like, which is a really good thing if you stay all day long in the streets and head back late in the night. You can leave your luggage before check in and after checkout, which allows you to enjoy NYC with no worries the day you arrive and leave. Great place. I hope to be at Interfaith soon!

HI NYC Hostel is a 2-minute walk from the 103rd Street Subway Station, a 12-minute walk from Riverside Park, and an 18-minute train ride to Times Square. The beds were new and super comfortable, each with multiple power outlets which was really handy. There were lockers for each bed in the room. Fast WiFi is also available free of charge. Everything was very clean, both the room and the bathrooms on the floor. Bathrooms were always available too, no waiting. There’s a beautiful garden in the back with covered tables. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the location is perfect with easy access to public transport. The on-site cafeteria was a nice surprise, good food at fair prices.
