We had an interesting chat! On top, there was a good breakfast included! The hotel is close to the highway and easy to get an Uber or Lyft, it’s also easily accessible by train to downtown Houston, 600m from Cavalcade train station. Using the Metro Rail Red line will take you 15min exactly to Main Street square Northbound station.

Haystack Hostel ligt op 14 km van Texas Southern University en 14 km van NRG Stadium, en heeft kamers in Houston. The hostel was extremely dirty and poorly located. I had to complete the online check-in twice and never received any confirmation email or the door codes. There were cockroaches on the floor, and the overall cleanliness was unacceptable. The bed was uncomfortable and disgusting. Most of the guests looked like homeless people, and I genuinely felt unsafe during my stay. One positive note: the lady working there was helpful and opened my door in the middle of the night when it accidentally locked after I went to the bathroom. Other than that, it was a terrible experience. This place is not safe, not clean, and definitely not worth the price.
