This was one of my best hostel experiences anywhere in the world. The host went so far out of her way to help with recommendations and to ensure you have a perfect stay. Couldn't rate Nothando's highly enough. Definitely worth staying at if you're in Plettenberg Bay.

All of the staff were very kind and friendly. The room was nice than I expected. You really don't need to leave because a restaurant, small store, and the beach are literally right there! If you don't want to swim in the big waves, a small calm lagoon is a short walk down the beach.

Guests of the hostel can use the free barbecue facilities on site. It is a very nice place to stay with loads of activities close by. My room was great and the Backpackers itself is really nice. The personal was great as well! Really nice and friendly people, nice talking at the first place in the evening. Great food. The Blackwater Tubing is a highlight as well.
