I intended to stay here few days but ended up extending for 2.5 weeiks. This place was like a little oasis in my wild trip around Africa. It was quite, very chill, with lovely cats and dogs living on the property. The staff was very nice and friendly, they helped me a lot. Also I was like enough staying for 5 days in total comopletely alone in the female dorm which was great but even when I was not alone there were only few of us. Aslo there is a huge mall very clothe that was some little civilization haven with restaurnats, Shoprite select and all. I really recommend this place especially if you are female travelling solo. I felt very safe in the area. Also they cook great food in the hostel, especially asian kebab and veggie burger.

At the hostel, the rooms have a wardrobe. All rooms at Lusaka Backpackers have air conditioning and a desk. We only stayed one night - had to get up at 3:00 to catch a bus. The staff went out of their way to help us arrange a taxi - thank you.
