This spacious chalet is ideally located next to the walking trails and ski runs on the mountain, and within a 10 – 15 minute walk from the charming town center, restaurants and bars of Zell am See. It is only 200 meters from bus stops in either direction. The chalet itself has three floors and a basement. It has an open plan living room, dining room and kitchen on the ground floor, with access to the patio and garden. In addition there is a separate toilet and ski boot dryer in the hallway and a ski locker outside. The 1st floor has a family bedroom, furnished with a double bed, and balcony, and an attached room with a bunk bed. A second bedroom on this floor also has a bunk bed. There is also a bathroom on this floor. The 2nd floor has an en-suite bedroom and balcony. There is a sizeable garden and a basement with laundry facilities and ironing board. An additional TV snug can be found in the basement. The house has underfloor heating and an air-filtration system for the summer. There is free Wi-Fi and all charges are included in the price.

I moved to Zell am See from England about 10 years ago, having fallen in love with the town after many years of summer and winter holidays here or nearby. The area is ideal for anyone keen on outdoor activities, be it sailing, skiing, kayaking, swimming, hiking, cycling etc. There are a wealth of things to do and see in the most spectacular surroundings, and I hope to be able to welcome you to this amazing town.

Zell am See is a beautiful town nested in the mountains with an attractive lake, providing swimming and water sports opportunities in the summer, and access to the Zell am See - Kaprun ski area in the winter. It also lies within a couple of hours drive of other ski resorts such as Saalbach-Hinterglemm, Maria Alm, Flachau and Kitzbuhel. The town is mainly pedestrainised with a number of shops, bars and restaurants. It is just 75 minutes drive from Salzburg Airport, 2.5 hours from Innsbruck and 3.5 hours from Munich. There are excellent transport connections with Salzburg. Nearby is the Kitzsteinhorn Glacier, the famous Grosslocknr Pass, a number of gorges and the Ice Caves at Werfen, just to mention a few of the many local attractions.
