In the holiday house there are 2 separate apartments with a wonderful view of the Gailtal. The apartment in the ground floor with garden terrace is approx. 65qm and offers space for 2-4 persons. The apartment in the 1st floor with balcony is about 75qm and offers space for 4-6 persons. The apartments are fully equipped. There is free wifi and satellite TV.We also have free parking directly in front of the house. For e-cars there is a charging possibility. For e-cars there is a charging possibility if needed. The apartments have 1 kitchen incl. dishwasher, fridge with freezer and kitchen utensils, bathroom with shower, toilet, washing machine, balcony or garden terrace, bedroom with double bed, living room (with sofa bed for 2 people) and hallway. On the 1st floor there is 1 children's room with 2 single beds. Towels and bed linen are included. The apartments are non-smoking. Of course smoking is allowed on the balcony or terrace. After each departure the apartments are properly cleaned by us. In the garden there is a pavilion + free sun loungers. Fresh baked goods can be delivered in the morning.

Our house is located in Köstendorf, the second largest village in the community of St. Stefan im Gailtal, at an altitude of 670 meters above sea level. The little village Köstendorf belongs to the district Hermagor in Carinthia, Austria. Our village is located near the border triangle of Italy, Slovenia and Austria and is bordered by the Carnic Alps in the south and the Gailtal Alps in the north. Above Köstendorf, at an altitude of 1003 m above sea level, is the little church of St. Steben, first mentioned in a document in 1466. The pilgrimage church is a popular hiking destination. From there, visitors are offered a wonderful view over the Gailtal. The Pressegger See (about 5 minutes by car) is a very popular bathing lake. Crystal clear water and beautiful fields offer enough space and possibilities for a nice, sunny bathing day. With an area of 55 hectares it is the ninth largest lake and also the warmest bathing lake in Carinthia. In the immediate vicinity (approx. 15 minutes by car) of our holiday home is also the largest ski area in the Southern Alps: The Nassfeld!
