This family-run 4-star hotel lies hidden between the vineyards of the Wachau, about 900 metres west of the historic town of Dürnstein. Most rooms at Gartenhotel & Weingut Pfeffel Dürnstein offer a balcony with views of the Danube. The highlight is the large panoramic spa area on the top floor, with 5 saunas. The restaurant has a terrace and serves Austrian cuisine with many homemade products such as herbs, honey, and eggs. Wine from the private vineyard can be enjoyed on site or at the hotel bar.
