Welcome to the Eggs family!
Bernd and Claudia are a nature-loving couple who chose Bartholomäberg as our home to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Together with our loyal dog Ares, we enjoy the peace and beauty of the mountains – whether hiking in the pristine countryside or skiing in the winter.
Our three grandchildren regularly vacation with us. The pristine nature and fresh mountain air provide the perfect setting for shared adventures and relaxing moments as a family.
Our son Lukas and his wife Susan are also nature-loving and enjoy spending their free time in the mountains with their children. Together, they explore themed trails for children, visit playgrounds, or enjoy exciting adventures in the climbing forest and on the coaster – all of this is part of their regular schedule.
As your hosts, we want to offer you not only a cozy temporary home, but also the opportunity to explore the breathtaking landscape surrounding Bartholomäberg. We're here to provide you with valuable tips on hikes, excursions, and other activities so you can enjoy your time away to the fullest.
Whether hiking in the summer or hitting the slopes in the winter – you're always welcome here. We look forward to welcoming you to our vacation apartment and providing you with unforgettable days surrounded by nature.

Neighbourhood information
Bartholomäberg:
The sun-drenched municipality of Bartholomäberg impresses with a more than 4,000-year-old cultural landscape. In summer, hike through lush flower meadows lined with traditional Maisäß houses.
In winter, strap on snowshoes and forge a new trail through untouched nature. The range of snowshoe routes and winter hiking trails is unparalleled in the region. With the most hours of sunshine in the Montafon, Bartholomäberg is a paradise for sun-seekers. Bordered by the Rätikon, Verwall, and Silvretta mountain ranges, the Montafon, Vorarlberg's southernmost valley, stretches from Bludenz southward to the Silvretta. The valley's head is crowned by Vorarlberg's highest mountain, the 3,312-meter-high Piz Buin. Between the high peaks, there are diverse mountain villages – from lively Schruns with the valley's only pedestrian zone to Gargellen, the highest village in the Montafon at over 1,400 meters. Active holidaymakers can explore the Montafon in the warmer months by hiking, (e-)biking, mountaineering, and climbing. In the winter, there are beautifully groomed winter hiking trails, varied snowshoe routes, 295 kilometers of slopes, and numerous ski tours.
