The beautifully preserved East Tyrolean farmhouse has been carefully restored and fitted out with six lovely and distinctive holiday apartments. Those in search of recreation of a high standard will find here a place with flair and character. Cosy rooms with panelled walls, made out of fragrant wood, and antique furniture flatter the eye of the discriminating connoisseur of culture. Modern, high-quality bathrooms invite to relax. Finest fabrics, precious materials and a particular appreciation for historical treasures make the rooms of the ‘Schloss Anras Residence’ a unique holiday domicile. The apartments range from 2 to 5 persons, choose the right apartment for your East Tyrol holidays!   For our guests sustainability towards nature is important to us: The heating is CO2-neutral with wood pellets, the energy comes from hydroelectric power and if possible we clean without chemicals. Most of our furniture has been made from solid wood by local carpenters and fabrics, linens and towels are from natural fibers.

Nestling in a beautiful landscape and surrounded by majestic mountain peaks, Anras sparkles with a really special flair, which the Bishops of Brixen have also enjoyed since the 12th century. The ‘Schloss Anras Residence’ was built as a summer resort for the Bishops and as such enjoys a chequered history. The Messerschmitt Foundation bought the building and the adjacent Country House and has preserved this treasure of alpine culture. The rooms, pictures and gardens bear witness even today of the history of past centuries.
