Quiet rooftop apartment with lift and fantastic view over the city and mountains in the heart of Gmunden. Ideal for your trip to Salzkammergut as a single, couple and family with up to 2 children. Only 1 minute walk to lake Traunsee! Sleep in two comfortable double beds (one in the bedroom, the other one is a decent kingsize foldaway bed in the living room, if required) and enjoy breakfast in our fully equipped kitchen with a nice coffee machine. Take a stroll at the lake and enjoy the beautiful town of Gmunden with its many restaurants, small shops and cafés, its vivid cultural scene, cinema/theater, galleries, playgrounds, and supermarkets within just 5 minutes of walking. Traveling with children? Just tell us in advance and we will share some books, toys and a highchair with you. A laundry machine is available on request if you plan to stay longer. You will also find many hiking and mountain biking trails as well as climbing spots nearby. In winter, even some ski resorts are within easy reach. Want to explore more? The tramway stop "Gmunden Rathausplatz" is just 50 meters away from the building and connects you to the Austrian railway. From our apartment you reach popular places like Salzburg (1,5 hrs), Hallstatt (1,5 hrs), Bad Ischl (1 hr), Linz (1,25 hrs) and even Vienna (2,5 hrs) with ease. The public parking garage is also only 1 minute away.
