Villa Rosa is our cosy base camp in the mountains. It is a place of peace for family and friends, a retreat - far away from the hustle and bustle of Vienna and Bad Gastein, where we can always refuel our energy tanks in this crazy world. Villa Rosa is my heart's project."

Property information

Villa Rosa is located at 1130 metres above sea level, at the end of a quiet promenade, surrounded by mountains, with a wonderful view of the surrounding peaks. The house at Valeriepromenade 6 was built in 1911 and was a private villa, boarding house, boarding school & flat house. Over the course of history it had many different names until it was sold in 2020, lovingly restored with attention to preserving old details and christened Villa Rosa. What could be saved was restored and the villa was gently kissed awake again. Many old pieces of furniture and pictures were preserved and reused. In the interior design, special emphasis was placed on materials such as wood, brass and high-quality fabrics.

Neighbourhood information

Böckstein - where the villa has stood for 110 years - is a district of Bad Gastein, only 15 minutes from the Hohe Tauern National Park and is known for its tranquillity, the flat paths for walking and the sound of the streams and small waterfalls that can be heard from all sides. Any hike or exploration can start right outside the door.
