The 1839 Cottages are centrally located on the High Street in the historic township of Willunga (est. 1839). Built within the grounds of a Primitive Methodist Church (est. 1868), the two bed and breakfast cottages with kitchenettes were built in the early 1980's with brand new bathroom renovations just recently completed. The church was 'faithfully' restored into a French restaurant favoured by the locals for many years which is now the home of your hosts Shane & Louise. With a more recent refurbish in 2014, the 1839 Cottages accommodation now includes a small modern double bedroom with a walk-in shower with a separate toilet/bathroom and a two bedroom apartment with a spa bath and living room. Our bed and breakfast offers accommodation to suit any needs and is in the prime position within the township. Being in the heart of the town has many benefits, as you are walking distance from cafe's, art galleries, eateries, cellar doors and many other attractions Willunga has to offer such as the Farmers Market held on Saturday mornings. If you do not wish to leave the comfort of the accommodation for your morning meal a continental breakfast is supplied.
