Absolute lakefront - your piece of paradise to enjoy. Enjoy this wonderful, tropical feel house with fabulous views over Lake Munmorah which is just metres away with direct access. You will have the entire property to yourselves. Wake up to the sun rising over the lake and whilst enjoying breakfast on the spacious deck watch the black swans, pelicans and ducks enjoying the tranquil environment. Perfect for families or couples the house has 2 bedrooms, an open plan living area, kitchen, spacious bathroom plus additional toilet in the laundry. It also has large outdoor deck with dining area and Weber gas BBQ. The house has reverse cycle air-conditioning in the living area and the double bedroom. There are also ceiling fans in the living room as well as both bedrooms. There is a modern, well equipped kitchen with everything you may need for your stay including a large fridge, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, electric stove and oven. There is a separate laundry with a second toilet plus a washing machine, dryer and outside clothes line. The lounge room has a comfy lounge and a modern flat screen, smart TV. Wifi is available throughout the house. There are three kayaks and life jackets available for guests to enjoy the wonderful lake with direct access from the house. If you fancy sailing a boat ramp is just a few minutes away. It also has a wood heater for snuggling up on those chilly evenings. An initial supply of firewood is included with each stay during winter only. Treat yourself to a longer stay, you won't regret it. We offer discounts for stays of 5 days or more.
We are the owners of the property and hence take great pride in the ensure the house is well maintained and comfortable for our guests. We have been welcoming guests to the property for over 4 years and are always happy to receive feedback on ways to improve their experience. We live in Sydney but are always available by phone or message to help with any queries or assistance you may need. Although we love dogs and have one of our own, we place a strong importance on maintaining a high standard of cleanliness for our house to ensure our guests have the best experience. For this reason, we do not allow dogs (or any other pets) of any size or breed.
The house is in an amazing location with: - Lakeside walking trail at doorstep - Fishing on the lake - Short stroll to shopping centre, cafes, restaurants, pub, bowling club and supermarket - 5 minute drive to nearest beach with many other wonderful beaches nearby (Budgewoi Beach, Lakes Beach, Norah Head and Soldiers Beach to name a few) - Extensive area for bike riding including sealed bike path around Budgewoi Lake - For those looking for retail therapy there are nearby shops at Lake Haven and a bit further away at Tuggerah - You can escape the hustle and bustle of the city and be just over an hours drive from northern Sydney Off street parking is available on the property. Whilst there is a bus stop just outside the house with access to local suburbs a car is the best way to get around. There are many good walks around the lake and bicycle paths nearby.
