Nestled away in a quiet Launceston street, our gorgeous little heritage-listed, self-contained cottages can be found. The perfect balance of luxury and cosiness, each of these uniquely and tastefully themed cottages have just the right touch of nostalgia and old-world charm. Our English, Irish, Scottish and Welsh cottages each pay homage to the property’s rich history, whilst our Boudoir and Outlander simply whisk you away to another world. Alice’s Cottages is the perfect place for a romantic getaway or as a base to discover all the Launceston and Northern Tasmania have to offer.
We are Tom and Bec, we own and run Alice's Cottages and The Dragonfly Inn - two unique, heritage-listed properties located in Launceston, each tucked away and enveloped in gardens and lawns allowing you to truly experience the charm and history iconic of Tasmania.
We are all about providing a very warm and welcoming feel without being in our guests’ face like old-school bed & breakfast stays. We have an amazing team of managers and housekeepers who look after the daily running of the properties to ensure you have an enjoyable and memorable stay.
Take a leisurely stroll to nearby restaurants and cafes offering Tasmania’s fine fare. An easy walk (or 5-minute drive) to the city centre or wander down and along the Kings Bridge-Cataract Walk following the South Esk river up to the iconic Cataract Gorge.
