My wife (Vonnie) and I (Neil) like to make our guests welcome. As a welcoming gesture we provide interstate and international guests with a free bottle of Tasmanian wine. Vonnie adds FREE items to our Apartment so you can make yourselves comfortable on arrival. The fridge will have bacon, eggs, milk, bread, margarine and 4 bottles of water. In the Pantry cupboard there will be Weetbix, Sultana Bran, porridge sachets, a box of crackers along with Vegemite and honey. Also coffee, tea, Milo, cooking oil and sauces. In the shower enclosure there will be body wash, soap, shampoo and conditioner. The Bathroom/Laundry will have washing powder in the cupboard along a washing basket and pegs for the clothesline, Everything you need to be self contained. We hope you enjoy the freebies. Bedroom 2 in our Apartment has 2 king singles that can be connected to create 1 king bed. Please let us know what configuration you prefer prior after confirming your booking with us. We are located less than 12klm from central Hobart. Our modern 2 bedroom Apartment offers a peaceful place to stay in a bush environment 110m above sea level, close to nature with views of the Derwent River. A large green lawn to take in the peacefulness and surroundings.

My wife (Vonnie) and I (Neil) enjoy meeting people from all walks of life and we hope we make their stay in Southern Tasmania as enjoyable as possible. Neil's interests include golf, caring for the lawn, watching sport and relaxing at our Bar in our BBQ area. Vonnie just likes to fuss over visitors and has a mammoth job of looking after the house interior and Neil (just kidding). She also enjoys our Bar and BBQ area...weather permitting.

Tourist attractions close-by include, Mona (10 mins), Richmond Historic Village (15mins), Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary (20mins), Salamanca Place/Market (15mins), Port Arthur Historic Site (1hr 25mins). There are great golf courses within 25 minutes from our property.
