I have tried to keep everything simple. Less clutter with a focus on the view. The property is tastefully furnished and very comfortable. There is one large My favorite space is the couch on a cold day and the sun filled deck in the warmer months that has amazing views out to the ocean and surrounding hills. You are really up very high. A very large rear deck was added this year making a sunny space for those colder days when the front deck is in shade. I feel like I am in a bird aviary when as I sit with over 10 species of birds visiting the garden on a daily basis. There is one large bathroom with bath and shower plus another shower in the laundry. At present there is only one toilet but that may change in the near future. The open plan living gives plenty of space for the family. There is a generous backyard with room to play and for a dog to roam. The garden is mostly planted in local species with my favorites being the banksia plants. Birds love to visit the garden. Each season brings different birds to feed on the nectar or eat the dried banksia pods. Each time I come to stay I update some small part of the home. I am paint over marks on walls, deep clean carpets and soft furnishings and make every effort to have the property looking and feeling its best. I am very particular about making this home feel like new for each guest. The rules say dogs outside but just contact me and we can discuss this .

I am a country lover and currently share my time between Lakes Entrance and Central Victoria. In the next 10 years I will have to decide which location I want to stay but for now I can enjoy the freedom of 2 very different but simple locations. I don't spent as much time at Lakes Entrance as I would like but make sure I visit at least every 4 weeks to make sure everything is in order. I have a great neighbor who keeps and eye on things for me and cleaners who know the ropes. I have been riding horses since I was 5 and have just purchased 2 new young horses to train in my retirement. When I visit Lakes I love to walk the paths, paddle my kayak and cycle the many paths. My garden at home is in the goldfields so the soil is not as generous as it is hear at Lakes Entrance. Retirement gives me plenty of time to do the things I love

I love the wildness of the beach at Lakes Entrance. You don't need to go far to find a space of your own. A paddle on the inlets is just great when the wind is not blowing and the water is calm. I have a favourite walk that goes up over Kalimna and down to the jetty. It takes in the views but you are away from the road.
