Urangan is one of the most beautiful coastal suburbs of Hervey Bay. It boasts long stretches of beautiful beaches, bbq & picnic areas, restaurants, pubs, cafes, boutiques, shops, superb fishing spots and access to the renowned Urangan Pier. Urangan offers an abundance of activities, including watersports, boating, fishing, as well as access to the Esplanade, which travels 14 km to Point Vernon, ideal for exercising or biking. The Urangan Marina is very close by, here you will find a variety of cafes, restaurants, and shops. It is also home to the Hervey Bay boat club, which offers live entertainment, dining and stunning views of the marina. The marina is also the departure point for whale watching cruises and for the ferry over to Fraser Island. If you have a car, there’s free parking all along the Esplanade. There are also buses, taxis and Ubers for those without a car. Urangan is a very popular and central can suburb, so a lot of things are also within walking distance. There are also electric scooters available for hire all along the Esplanade, as well as bike hire shops nearby.
