As you step inside, you’ll be welcomed by an expansive, light-filled interior. The air-conditioned open plan dining and living areas are framed by large windows that showcase stunning ocean views and fill the space with natural light. At one end, a casual sitting area invites you to unwind on the beautiful lounges while soaking up the coastal views. On the other, a warm and inviting lounge room offers the perfect spot to relax as the day sets on the ocean horizon and you catch up on the news, enjoy a quiet moment with a book or play one of the many board games provided. A third living area, located at the rear of this level, offers additional space to relax with its own plush corner lounge, a TV, and access to a private rear deck. Complete with an outdoor dining setting, a barbecue, and ocean views, this space offers another option for alfresco meals. The fully equipped kitchen is a dream for those who enjoy the option of home-cooking while on holiday. This is not the property where you’ll be frustrated with a shortage of cutlery, glasses, plates and kitchenware. With sleek countertops, a coffee machine and modern appliances, dishwasher, and ample space for meal preparation, it has everything needed to create a delicious feast. Whether you choose to dine at the stylish breakfast bar, gather around the elegant ten-seater dining table, or step onto one of the expansive decks for an alfresco experience, you will find yourself immersed in the serenity and coastal charm. The expansive front deck is the perfect spot to enjoy breakfast or morning coffee as you watch the sunrise over rolling waves. In the afternoon this space becomes the perfect place to relax on the casual lounge setting with a drink and canapes as you spot dolphins frolicking in the surf or watch whales breaching off One Mile Beach. On those balmy nights, the outdoor dining setting offers the perfect ambiance for an alfresco dining experience with spectacular coastal views.

Neighbourhood information

One Mile Beach is a popular patrolled beach known for its family-friendly atmosphere and high-quality surf. It stretches 1.3 km from Bennetts Head to a prominent headland. The beach is popular with surfers and families alike and is patrolled during the swimming season (October to April). It features a large park with picnic facilities, BBQs, and a playground, plus shallow water at the northern end. Dolphins can be regularly seen surfing the waves in the clear water whilst humpback whales frolic just offshore during the migration months of June to November. At the northern end you’ll find Bennett's Head Lookout, offering 360 degree views from The Tanks, right down to Cape Hawke and One Mile Beach. It also boasts the giant sandhill, a popular attraction for sand sliding and boarding. It is also the start of one of NSW’s most stunning coastal walks that will take you to Forster Beach, along the break-walls, across the Forster-Tuncurry Bridge and through to Tuncurry Rock Pool. South of One Mile Beach you’ll find Burgess Beach – a secluded, sheltered beach hidden by vegetation and accessed by a steep path. Although Burgess Beach doesn't have the facilities of some of the larger beaches it’s a great spot for families, as it offers rock pools and small rock cave formations to explore. A short 3km west is where you will find Forster Main Beach and the centre of Forster CBD, packed with cafes and restaurants or offering a stroll through local shops. Backing onto Forster’s CBD is also where most visitors access the magnificent crystal-clear waters of Forster’s Wallis Lake system. Here you can hire power boats, SUP boards and paddle bikes, try you luck fishing off the banks or just dive in and enjoy a lake swim. One Mile Beach also offers easy access to one of the friendliest seaside golf courses on the north coast as well as local clubs and pubs - each of which will happily come and collect you and drop you home in their courtesy buses.
