Taking in some of Daylesford most spectacular views this 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home is within walking distance of all that the town has to offer. Walk in for a coffee at Pancho or Larder, take a long lunch at Sault or the Lake House or just wander the Vincent Street Shops. There is a cooks kitchen with everything you may need as well as a Weber Gas BBQ on the front patio. The spacious bedroom has an ensuite -double spa, while the second and third bedroom share a double size shower. The home’s furnishings are mid century-luxe style with a creative twist sourced from King Living Furniture and other Australian designers. The house is an oasis with garden on all four sides and lots of paths to explore. The substantial living room is also kitted out with a 55" smart TV. The white goods, beds, linen are all new and of high quality. Bedroom one and two have queen size beds while bedroom three has a double. Bedroom one has an ensuite with its large indoor spa bath, while bedroom two and three share a bathroom with an extra large glass shower. Solar Power and recycling of water is important to us. We use the power of the sun for our electricity- but we encourage our guests to only use power when necessary and turn things off when not in the house. Our house is also double glazed to keep the the house warm in winter and cool in summer. The Daylesford-Hepburn Region is famous for its mineral waters and is known as the Spa Centre of Australia. Our beautiful scenery includes the famous Lake Daylesford, the Wombat Hill Botanic Gardens and the Wombat State Forest. There are historic buildings in the main street of Daylesford and the region’s history lies in the rush for gold. Lake Daylesford now covers land upon which gold was first discovered and offers lakeside picnic spots, cafes, walking tracks, fishing and pedal boating. The internationally known Lake House sits on its shores and there are public BBQ facilities and amenities adjacent to the main parking area. Lake Jubilee is located south of Daylesford (about a 10-15 minute drive) and is ideal for fishing, boating and swimming. If you are looking for a waterfall, visit Sailor’s Falls, less than 30 minutes south from the Daylesford Town Centre. If you are into the outdoors, Daylesford sits at the junction of three walking trails that are part of the Great Dividing Trail – the Lerderderg Track, the Dry Diggings Track and the Wallaby Track. The Hepburn Regional Park is a little less challenging and contains mineral springs and relics of the bygone gold era.
