This edgy, modern design celebrates clean lines and stylish interiors whilst elegantly framing it’s rural vista. Boomerang House is somewhere you’ll immediately feel at home and wish to keep coming back. This unique property oozes contemporary style and boasts gorgeous views, all within 10 minutes drive of Dunsborough and iconic beaches of Smiths and Yallingup. A seamless fusion of glass, concrete and wood coupled with it’s very unique shape creates a stunning holiday home. Floor to ceiling double glazed glass windows and doors separate the polished concrete floors and concrete ceiling with it’s acoustic timber panelling. Solar passive design ensures this house is cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Expansive sliding doors allow the gentle valley breeze to flow through in the summer, and in the winter, the glass will soak up the sunshine plus there's underfloor heating throughout and a wood fire to keep you warm. Timber features throughout this home in the beautiful cabinetry, stylish pivot-swing doors and even the ceiling fans! Boomerang has two wings with a breezeway / alfresco in the centre. The eastern wing houses the open plan kitchen, living and dining area with the master bedroom and ensuite at the far end. The western wing houses the second and third bedrooms, compactly designed queens, a shared bathroom and a second living room with wide screen TV. The alfresco features a built-in BBQ, and with all the sliding doors open you'll feel connected to the whole home from this spot. Days here could be very laissez-faire, where one feels at peace with nature and chooses uninterrupted relaxation. Guests can sprawl out across the lounges, sit outside along the concrete edge swinging their legs above the garden or stroll into the bush and explore down to the creek. Nearby Dunsborough is a lively coastal township with cafes, restaurants, and boutique shops, however located in a rural setting, guests are close to wineries, art galleries and breweries. Dunsborough beach is a long stretch of pristine white sand with aqua clear waters. Walk along the paved coastal path to enjoy the pretty coves along the way, or venture along Cape Naturaliste to Eagle Bay, Meelup and Bunker Bay. You’re also well located to explore the iconic wineries, restaurants, surf breaks and natural attractions of the greater Margaret River region.
