Peaceful place, positioned close to beautiful Brooms Head Beach. Partial beach view across the road with a two minute walk to feel the sand between your toes. Lovely to hear and see the ocean from the unit. We provide an expresso coffee machine or guests are welcome to walk up the beach and sit at the snak shak. The bowling club is a short stroll from the unit and the chinese restaurant is open most fri, sat and sunday evenings. We also provide a frozen meal option for a fee for guests who havn't been able to bring supplies and arrive after hours of take away shops. This one bedroom unit has a queen bed in the bedroom and a double pull out sofa in the living room. There are two single sofa chairs for children or small adults. We are a family friendly unit. Please let the host know in advance which beds you would like prepared or late notice you are able to prepare your own. See costs for extra guests. Good sized kitchen, well stocked with necessities and utensils, new bathroom and timber floors throughout. Carport at the front doubles as an outdoor area with table and chairs and hammock. We also have a temporary enclosure for small children to play which surrounds the outdoor area. Children need to be supervised at all times though. New Year period still available

In my second year of hosting and I'm loving the journey. We love the simplicity of beautiful Brooms Head and we aim to provide as many amenities for our guests as possible to provide the best stay that is possible. We love beach walking, hiking, kayaking, horse riding and mountain biking and I'm a semi-retired registered nurse.

Brooms Head is a beautiful beach town with Lake Cakora close to the beach. Sandon River is a short drive for fishing, boating and kayaking. Brooms Head has a lookout with scenic panoramic views and a great spot for whale watching. The town has a general store with an outdoor Cafe. A further stroll and you ll find the Snak Shack for coffee and great take-away food. The beach has a protected bay area which is good for children, lots of space for bike riding and walking trails. Brooms Head bowling club is close to your accommodation for a meal, drink or entertainment. Tennis courts available for hire through the Bowls Club. The charismatic town of Maclean is 20 mins for all your shopping needs. Santus Brewery is also approx. 20 mins and Yamba 35 mins. Botero Cafe is 20 mins in Maclean for the best coffee.
