Bundara is a beautiful avocado property of 2 acres in the heart of the village of North Tamborine. We have a huge garden where you can laze under the trees enjoying a glass of wine, or sit on the veranda enjoying the garden view. We are within walking distance of restaurants, bars, cafes, national parks and shops so you can park the car here and explore the local area on foot. The living/dining room is spacious with a big comfy couch and footstool, flat screen TV with Netflix and sliding doors to the veranda. All the bedrooms also have sliding doors to the veranda and come with super comfy beds and high quality cotton sheets.
We have lived here for over 30 years and our family home has now been converted into a smaller home plus guest accommodation. We love living on Tamborine Mountain and know it well so can give guests lots of ideas and advice on what to do and places to go. We have lived overseas, travelled extensively to many parts of the world and enjoy meeting people from other countries. Sheila speaks some French and Spanish if necessary. We would love to be able to share with you this special part of the world. Sheila and Max.
The thing that people who stay here appreciate the most is being able to walk to restaurants (Baileys Irish Pub, Belvedere, Leaf Japanese, Trattoria Mk 2, Tamborine Diner, Hickory), cafes (Spice of Life, Picnic, Mountain Brew), Witches Falls Winery and Brewery and shops (IGA, greengrocer, pizza, boutiques, health food shop). The Knoll National Park, with beautiful views to the west (go at sunset) is also within walking distance. The popular shopping area Gallery Walk is a short drive away as are Skywalk and Thunderbird Park. Award winning distillery, the Cauldron, as well as Fortitude Brewing are also close by. Views to the Great Dividing Range to the west at sunset are magnificent.
