High on the hill in the heritage area of this historic mining town, this cottage provides stunning sunset views and blissful peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle of the city. This bright and charmingly simple miner's cottage with high-ceilings and light-filled rooms is walking distance to town for great breakfast cafes, dining/pub options and the convenience of multiple supermarkets, BigW/Kmart and Dan Murphys. 5 mins from local Harmers Haven beach, 8-10 mins to Cape Paterson and Inverloch surf beaches. Plus regular local entertainment at the Wonthaggi Union Community Arts Centre and the Wonthaggi State Coal Mine Visitor Centre is at your doorstep. Three-Bedroom House: This comfortable holiday home includes living room with split system for air-con/heating, 3 separate bedrooms and 1 bathroom with a shower. Guests will find an oven/stovetop, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker and kitchenware in the well-equipped kitchen. Facilities also include a washing machine, dryer, and large flat-screen TV with streaming services. The place also boasts a fresh outdoor dining area with electric barbeque, cantelever umbrellas and casual bench seating. The house has 3 bedrooms comprised of 4 beds: Bed1 - King, Bed 2 - 2 Singles (can be placed together for King size if prefer, see pics), and Bed 3 - Single. Please note that Bed 3 is shared with a european style laundry that is shielded from view with 4-Panel screens when not in use. Bed 1 and Bed 2 have ceiling fans, and Bed 3 has a remote-controlled pedestal fan. Bed linen and towels are provided. Fully fenced across front of property, and separately fenced rear section. Dog-friendly with a large pet door providing ready access to fenced rear area.

My family has been holidaying in this part of the Bass Coast for over 35 years and Wonthaggi in particular is such a central hub to the beautiful Inverloch, Cape Paterson and Kilcunda beach lines and the picturesque Loch, Korrumburra and Archies Creek country townships.
