Hi there! My husband and I use the home when we are in Brisbane to visit family. We are happy to share our beautiful home with guests who appreciate the space we have created and are respectful of it. Carininya is a local heritage listed property dating back to 1878, with large heritage Bunya and Norfolk Pine trees in the back garden. All the rooms are air-conditioned, with heating and cooling, and there is a verandah for you to enjoy sunsets. If we are in town, we will be staying in the basement level of the house, which is locked off and separate from the upper two levels which you would be staying in. We will respect your privacy, no worries. Parking is available on the street out front, and on two adjacent streets. You will receive a digital visitor parking permit which will allow for unlimited free parking in these 3 streets, which is very helpful in this inner city area. Carininya is very centrally located and within walking distance to South Bank, which is a restaurant and entertainment lifestyle hub, with parklands and museums as well. We especially love that we are just around the corner from some great restaurants like Clarence, C'est Bon and very close to 1889 Enoteca. There are also casual restaurants and pubs, as well as a Coles grocery store within walking distance.
