Cloud Hill is a renovated Queensland cottage located on a working cattle property 8 Kilometres from Maleny. From most rooms in the cottage there are panoramic views over valleys and neighbouring dairy farms with views extending to the Pacific Ocean. Lights on passing ships can be seen in the distance at night. The cottage is privately located and fitted with electric blankets and reverse cycle air conditioning for those chilly nights. Located close to major Wedding Venues. Taxi transport is available with prior booking. A breakfast hamper will be provided including provisions for a cooked and continental breakfast.
The owner Lyn comes from a primary production and education background. Her and her late husband relocated to Maleny 15 years ago and love the variety of activities, from the beach to the mountains, that are on offer in the Sunshine Coast. Lyn welcomes any enquires about their cottage and local attractions.
Maleny (and surrounding locations) is a unique rural community in the Blackall Ranges within 90 minutes drive from Brisbane. The cottage provides an excellent location from which to explore : spectacular views of the Sunshine Coast and the Glasshouse Mountains; Cheese Factories (Maleny and Kenilworth) ; National Parks (eg Bellthorpe, Kondalilla and Blackall Range); bushwalks including sections of the Great Walk accessed through Montville; 40 minute drive to the beaches on Sunshine Coast; 30 minute drive to Australia Zoo and a short drive to the many markets of Maleny, Montville, Landsborough, Crystal Waters, Witta and Eumundi. Maleny and Montville are the location of many popular Wedding Venues.
