Time here is best spent outdoors, either exploring the beautiful bay or surrounding parkland or simply pulling out the picnic set and lazing in the sun. Wanda Beach is located towards the northern end of the town, where it joins Soldiers Point. In the summer, this beach is a popular place to swim, especially in front of George Reserve, where there is less seaweed. Enjoy a dip in the bay, children can enjoy the playground, and there are BBQs, and restrooms in the little reserve. The short walk away leads to Wanda Wanda Head, which may be found by strolling south along the beach.
