Cooinda - on the beachfront of beautiful Waubs Bay in Bicheno, has amazing views - even from the sauna! It is an easy 300 metre walk to the shopping village and restaurants. Redbill surf beach is a gentle 500m walk. Penguins nest along the foreshore Cooinda features three elegantly appointed bedrooms, designed to embody comfort and sophistication, with 100% Belgian flax linens and thoughtfully curated details to enhance your stay. All the rooms are complimented with Hale Mercantile Linens and Aesop body products. 1. Master Suite (Bedroom 1): Located upstairs, a luxurious sanctuary featuring a king bed, smart TV, dedicated workspace, and a collection of fine art and antique pieces for a touch of timeless elegance. 2. Bedroom 2: Located upstairs, offers a versatile king split bed. We have this set up as two king singles as default, however can be requested as a king. It features striking indigenous artwork, adding cultural depth to the space and French provincial antiques. 3. Bedroom 3: Situated on the lower level, mirrors Bedroom 2’s flexible bedding configuration, making it ideal for additional guests. We have bedroom 3 set up as a king as a default. The master and second bedrooms share a luxurious upstairs bathroom, while Bedroom 3 benefits from access to a second bathroom and laundry downstairs, ensuring a seamless balance of privacy and comfort for all guests. A double garage provides secure off street parking. A large deck facing the sea offers an external kitchen featuring an electric hotplate and gas bbq. An outside shower and a traditional sauna (with a view) is also available at the property at the top of the beach access path. Whales and dolphins are regular visitors to the bay and can be seen from Cooinda's living spaces inside and out. A cosy wood fire is available inside and a fire pit outside. Freycinet and Apsley National Parks and numerous vineyards with cellar doors and restaurants are a 30 minute drive away. A 9 hole golf course is nearby.

Swimming: Waubs Bay is a beautiful beach with torquioise blue water and a snow white sandy beach patrolled by lifesavers. A swimming group meets daily in front of the lifesaving club at 7.30am for their daily swim. The lifesaving club has a large deck with hot outside showers for rinsing off after a swim, Surfing: Redbill Surf Beach is a gentle 500m walk. Hiking: World famous Freycinet and Apsley National Parks are a 30 minute drive away. Wineries : Numerous vineyards with cellar doors and restaurants can be found less than a 30 minute drive away Penguins: Witness the captivating spectacle of little blue penguins waddling home from the ocean under the starlit sky. Penguins can be seen each night along the foreshore in Bicheno. Whale watching: Regular spotting of whales and dolphin occurs almost daily in Waubs Bay. This incredible experience can be seen from the house with the naked eye but using the telescope or binoculars provided will enhance the experience. Golf: Bicheno Golf Course is a 9 hole golf course nearby. Also within a 30 minute drive are Freycinet and Swansea Golf Courses, Massage : Freycinet massage are nearby. They also offer onsite services including yoga on Cooinda's deck Facials: Firefly offers massages and facials and are also happy to provide on-site services for 3 people or more. Restaurants: There are number of great restaurants within easy walking distance. With at least a weeks' notice we can also have our chef provide a private dining experience at the house
