Firstly, let me introduce myself. I am Kirsty and I am originally from New Zealand with 30 years experience in the hospitality industry. I had the luck to travel extensively and lived in many amazing places all over the world throughout my life until I met my husband Ray on Hayman Island 14 years ago. Since then, I based myself and my family in beautiful Queensland. We lived for 6 years as on-site managers at a Resort in Mooloolaba and we have been living in Mudjimba for the last 8 years. Honestly: I wouldn't live anywhere else in the world. My kids are amazing and they fully embrace the coastal life as we do. They're always taking our dog to the beach or swimming in the surf. For your entertainment, it’s only a short walk to local cafes and shops, and the cottage has a smart TV and selection of books and board games for guests to enjoy. Cottonwood Cottage is the perfect base to explore the Sunshine Coast or just enjoy the laid-back charm of Mudjimba.

Mudjimba Beach is central to most of what the Sunshine Coast has on offer. Conveniently located in the immediate vicinity of the Sunshine Coast Airport (MCY), Mudjimba is an ideal spot for all water and open air activities. Swimming, surfing, beach walks, bush walks, bike rides. You name it. It is all at your doorstep. The Mudjimba Beach Park is equipped with BBQ and kids playgrounds. It is probably the best beachside park of the whole Sunny Coast. If golf is the way you unwind, you will be at walking distance from the excellent Twin Waters Golf Club. We really suggest you to sit back and soak it all in. But if you wish to explore this beautiful part of the world a little further, jump in your car and you will reach in less than an half an hour all of Sunshine Coast’s main tourist destinations.
