Spend your days gazing at over the St Pauls river and your nights curled up in front of the fireplace. This 1910 miners cottage retains many of its simple living features but has been upgraded to incorporate modern touches for the ultimate in comfort.
The cottage feels a world away but is located just a stones throw from the Esk Highway, the gateway to the East Coast of Tas. It is situated in the historic town of Avoca, where the St Pauls River and South Esk rivers meet.
I love living in Tas and exploring the beaches, reserves and vast spaces with no one around! I'm lucky I can share some of these less explored areas through our properties at Avoca and Dodges Ferry.
When travelling I enjoy trying to find unique places like these!
I live offsite so won't be there in person to greet you. Should you need any assistance please feel free to contact me directly.
Avoca is a great base for exploring the North East of Tas. Approximately 45 minutes from the Launceston Airport (67Kms). 1 hour and 10 mins approx to the East Coast towns of St Helens and Bicheno and Swansea. Having your own car is recommended. Callows coaches do stop directly across the road from the Cottage and have regular trips to Launceston or the East Coast.
There is plenty of parking in the quiet street of St Pauls Place. Walking or cycling is the best way to look around the Historic town of Avoca. An early mining and farming town, it is now much smaller but still retains some fantastic historical buildings.
