Cowra Cottage is situated within the centre of Cowra, NSW. Hosted by Anne and Paul who owned and operated The Quarry Restaurant, a highly regarded restaurant and cellar door, for the past 35 years. There is a very comfortable queen in the main bedroom with beautiful linens and with a good work space. Comfortable lounge with Netflix and WiFi available. Everything you should need is provided in the kitchen with a huge oven and gas cooktop, microwave, dishwasher and coffee machine with pods.
My husband Paul and I owned and operated The Quarry Restaurant in Cowra, NSW for the past 35 years. We now own a beautiful historic cottage, Cowra Cottage, and look forward to hosting you here in Cowra. We are happy to welcome your pet, however, there is a pet charge of sixty dollars payable directly to the host. Please request this when booking. We do ask that pets are not allowed on the furniture and that all droppings are collected and disposed of upon departure. We are only a phone call away if needed, however, we respect your privacy and provide a lock box for collection of your keys.
A very comfortable 10 min stroll from the famous Cowra Japanese Gardens. This is a must in any visit to Cowra, beautiful through all the seasons. You can extend your walk if you wish up to the POW campsite. The centre of town, just over a km away, you will find The Breakout Brasserie, a lovely spot for lunch as well as the Imperial Hotel for an excellent Pub meal. Only 1.5km from the centre of town and the local hospital. There is a taxi service in town should you wish to dine out at The Quarry Restaurant and enjoy some local wines. The Quarry also provides a central Cellar Door for local wine tastings and sales.
