Adam here. I live on the Gold Coast with my labrador Harry. I am from Perth originally, spent 20 years in Melbourne, been on the Gold Coast on and off for 25 years now. I love the beach and the sunshine. I've been doing short term accomodation and managing rentals for over 20 years now, love sharing my property with other people who also get to experience the joy of such a wonderful house! I reside in Mermaid Beach, so I am only 10 mins away if needed, or, if I am interstate, I have emergency tradespeople that can be on hand if needed.

This is a very quiet neighbourhood, although quite close to the action of Surfers and Broadbeach. Our little island is called Florida Gardens. There is only one road in, so not much traffic. There are three parks on the island. The biggest one is right across the road and has access to the canal. You can walk to the light-rail and it's only a 10 min walk, then another 5 mins to the beach. I'ts a 12 minute walk to the light rail stop. The light rail can take you south to Broadbeach and Pacific Fair, or North, through Surfers, Southport, right up to Helensvale and then off to Brisbane. There is plenty of parking on the street, or in the two car garage.
