Situated in the heart of Kangaroo Island, Glossy Black Cabin is a self-contained new business nestled among our stand of pine trees for a relaxing and quiet getaway. Located on our farm and it's prime location in the middle of the island, access to all of our attractions is a breeze with nearly all destinations and activities within 50 minutes drive. Due to being a rural property, there is ample parking on site with space for boats or caravans to be parked, to take a break from camping. The cabin has an open kitchen and living space, modern bathroom and one bedroom with a king bed. We can split the bed if you are travelling with a friend or co-worker and a porta-cot is available, both upon request. Being a working sheep farm, we kindly ask that no pets are brought to the property to protect the welfare of our livestock.

One of the owners of 'Cockatoo Crossing' and passionate about Agri and Nature Tourism. We live in the homestead onsite with our dogs and other pets.

Just a short walk from our nearest town, Parndana, and surrounded by neighbouring farms, both sheep and cattle. Parndana has a laundromat, post office, general store, take away, fuel services, pub/hotel and bottleshop. Other interests in own are a golf course, lawn bowls club and soldier settlers museum.
