THE APARTMENT - This bright, roomy studio apartment offers all the comforts of home for couples, friends, and families. This extra large, one room (plus bathroom) studio apartment is fully self-contained. There is a queen bed and a single with trundle. A cot and highchair are also available on request. There is more than enough room on the large L shaped lounge for everyone to relax after a day of sightseeing, and plenty to keep guests of any age entertained. From the many books in the bookshelf for the avid reader to a variety of boardgames or enjoying a movie on Netflix on the 55-inch smart TV. And of course, there is unlimited free wi-fi. There is parking for one or more vehicles directly in front of the apartment, with no steps to the door. The yard is fully fenced and a remote is provided for the driveway gate. The apartment has a good-sized private patio with a gas BBQ and seating for six. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the appliances you need to cook up a storm. Appliances include, toaster, kettle, rice cooker, air fryer, electric grill, two burner ceramic hotplate, microwave/convection oven and electric frypan. Some basic cooking staples are also supplied. Breakfast Cereal, fruit, bread, milk, butter, some condiments, fresh ground coffee and a variety of instant coffees and teas are all supplied. There are electric blankets on all beds and also extra blankets located in the luggage racks. In the wardrobe, as well as hanging space you will find a fully equipped picnic backpack, iron, pegs, clothes airer and shopping bags for the supermarket. The bathroom has a step-in shower, a bench for your gear, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, haircaps, body lotion and more. As the apartment is well insulted and stays very cool in the summer, however there is a reverse cycle air-conditioner for your comfort in any season. There is a washing machine and clothes dryer located in the main residence which guests are welcome to use. Please just ask us for access.

YOUR HOSTS - In 2010 my husband and I started touring the country with Rod's music, spending at least 3 months a year in Tasmania. We fell in love with this beautiful state and moved here permanently from NSW in 2017. We spent the next 3 years renovating our lovely home in Beaconsfield while still entertaining with Rod's show when possible. We finished turning our never developed downstairs area into my holiday accommodation studio in November 2019. After working for many years in the hospitality industry in NSW, I am now back to doing what I love, looking after guests. We are thrilled with how it has all come together. Our aim was to provide a private space for our guests that is comfortable, relaxing and has all the comforts of home. A complete 'home away from home'. THE NEIGHBOURHOOD - Goldfields Studio apartment is located in the heart of the beautiful Tamar Valley, it makes the perfect base for day trippers to explore some of the best that Tassie has to offer. The apartment is only a 5-minute walk to the Beaconsfield Mine & Heritage Museum and Miners Gold Brewery. Seahorse World & Platypus House are a short drive away. Further afield you’ll find destinations like Cradle Mountain National Park and the Great Lakes. Beaconsfield main street is also just a few minutes' walk away from the apartment. There you will find two good size supermarkets, a bakery, two fantastic Indian restaurants, cafes, butchers, chemist and more. Everything you may need for a great stay in the beautiful Tamar Valley is just walk away. The Tamar Valley is famous for its many beautiful Wineries, which are only a short drive away from Beaconsfield. The apartment is only 40km from Launceston, 55km from the airport and 65km from the Spirit of Tasmania Terminal in Devonport.
