The apartment occupies the lower level of our home, is completely self contained with private entrances, roller shutters on every window, split system air-conditioning and a full laundry just for your use. Fabulous sea views, free car parking, fast WIFI, free Netflix, puratap - 30 mins by train to the city of Adelaide. Free parking is available at the apartment door.

Roy and I love hosting, meeting travellers from both Australia and all over the world. We are proud of our apartment and how comfortable we have made it. We adore Hallett Cove and know you will too with our adorable ocean views, sunsets and Conservation Park board walk. We love hosting singles, couples and families. We love to travel ourselves and so we know what guests like. You like easy check in, to be able to have a coffee, tea and a biscuit when you arrive. To be able to ask for restaurant recommendations if you are from interstate or overseas. To be able to cook if you wish, to be able to do a load of washing, close the shutters and have a quiet night in to watch a Netflix movie or open everything to the ocean views and beautiful sunsets. To have free parking right at the door is always a bonus. We purchased our place around 25 years ago and have painstakingly renovated it to the beautiful house it is today. The apartment is bigger than expected, renovated by our son, he and his family lived there while building their home. This has left our apartment with a lovely homely feel about it. The ocean views from the apartment windows are lovely and closer than it looks in the photos. If you have children they will love the park at the beach and the whole family will love the Hallett Cove Conservation Park board walk. Given we live at the property, we will be available to assist with any requirements, however we respect your privacy and although we enjoy a chat we would prefer to let you enjoy your break. The apartment is self contained with all of its own entrances.

Hallett Cove is a beachside suburb, safe and quiet with lovely friendly people. It is a great area for fishing and exploring the beach rock pools and visiting the world renowned conservation park, neighbouring swimming beaches are close by. The beach is literally 2 mins walk away as is the Heron Way Reserve for bbqs, picnics, playground and the Boatshed Cafe and restaurant. The train station is 2 mins drive away and we are 30 mins to Adelaide by train. The winery region of McLaren Vale is 30 mins drive away. Hallett Cove is one of Australia's best geological sites with 2km of coastal walkway. Hallett Cove has a shopping centre, hotel, various restaurants, take away places, churches and a community library. There is an excellent train service 10 mins walk away up a slight hill which goes south as far as Seaford and into the City of Adelaide. There are local buses available. If you have your own car you can park just outside the apartment in your own car park.
